Successful all-volunteer community programs require the support, guidance, and foundational rules of an established national governing organization. The 21st Ward Jr. League has proudly chartered with Babe Ruth & Cal Ripken Leagues since 2015. In addition, we partner locally with Philadelphia-area based organizations and leagues to accelerate the growth and development of both our recreational and travel programs. This enables us to offer structured recreational play for youth players, regardless of skill level, which we have done since 1957! In addition, the league provides a try out path for young baseball and softball players that want to further their journey in competitive travel ball and tournament play which aligns to their age, skill level, physical and mental development.
